His eyes widen at the admission before he closes him tightly. Of all the ways he's imagined hearing those words, that was the one he wished wouldn't happen.

He sighs. He's probably kidding himself anyway. For this to get serious they'd have to deal with the impact on their careers, and he doesn't see that happening. Not when the team is the only family either of them have.
