Maybe it's the lack of alone time they've had, or maybe just the fact that he's been jerking off while everyone else is asleep for a couple weeks - but the idea of pulling off the road and finding a place to park sounds like a great idea.

"There's not much in the way of a view..." He mutters under his breath, trying to keep the van on fairly level ground as they cut through the empty wooded area - if he hurt BA's new baby they'd never hear the end of it and he might end up with some broken bones.

"I mean it." He replies more firmly, sliding his hands under Murdock's open flannel shirt.

"You're amazing, you know that."

He brushes his lips over his soft hair; "I'll show you anything I can."

He sighs a little, letting his hands linger on bare shoulders as he presses in close.

"Love you."

All truth told, it's the gentle touch that unravels him more than the words - but those words... well, they're something.

Something that's getting a lot easier to say, and a good bit easier to believe.

"You're teaching me too, you know? The sexy part isn't everything."

"Yeah? Like what?"

He's not exactly sure why he's gotten all maudlin all of a sudden, but he really would like to hear it.

How to love someone? How to be a decent boyfriend?

"How to deal with things I can't control," he replies after a long moment of consideration.

"And how to be the guy that buys pink weasel things for their boyfriend."

He presses an exaggerated kiss to Murdock's forehead. "Useful stuff."

"Yeah, I'm sure that's a skill that'll come in handy in the future."

It does seem to have snapped him out of his funk, though.

"Y'know that's the first time you've called me that."

With Murdock in his life? He doesn't doubt it.

"What?" He asks innocently enough, letting his hands push up to Murdock's shoulders to slide off the open shirt.

"Your boyfriend."

He says it softly, as if it'll disappear if brought out into the open.

The thick roll of his accent makes it sound almost like something else entirely - but there it is. In the middle of nowhere, surrounded by forest and the sound of their breathing.

"Yeah, I guess so..." he replies softly with a half-shrug.

"You okay with that?"

"The word I can take or leave... but the concept, I am very okay with."

He leans in to kiss him, last traces of self-consciousness slowly evaporating.

"Are you okay with it?"

Letting out a hollow groan of approval when the kiss breaks - pushing back his arousal enough to stay sensible - he answers; "I'm getting there."

And he is. It isn't easy, but he is.

"I'm not really good at it."

He grazes his hands down Face's chest to rest on his abs. He does always like the results of his exercise regimen to be appreciated.

"You're getting better, though."

It is nice to be admired, even if the tight chiseled look he built up in prison was starting to soften on the road.

Pressing another soft kiss near his ear, Face murmurs; "I have a good reason to."

Shifting the shirt on Murdock's shoulders, he strips it off slowly to expose his arms and the thin t-shirt he wore.

He shivers, more from the emotion of the moment than the removal of clothing.

"Glad to hear."

With subtle ease, Face pushes himself against his lover - guiding him back against a large tree with hard, eager kisses.

"I promise it won't always be like this."

He doesn't know how,.but somehow he's determined to fix things.

The heat of the kisses and the feeling of the rough bark through his shirt are enough to make him melt a little.

"What will it be like?"

Just for the moment, he can imagine their future together...

"We won't have to go out to the middle of nowhere to get some privacy." He groans, pressing an even harder kiss against his open mouth and then lower to his throat.

"No more running. No more hiding from police."

[notthatcrazy]

"No more hiding from ourselves."

He's not sure where that came from, exactly, but it feels right to say it.

A groan closes his throat and he's not sure if it's the low boil arousal or the twinge of guilt tugging at him. He's trying, but it's not exactly easy.

"I want you..." he murmurs against Murdock's ear, nipping his earlobe. His fingers slide down Murdock's shirt, snagging the button on his jeans and popping it open.

"Yes... of course..."

As far as avoidance tactics go, this is one of the better ones.

"Of course?" He grins, nipping again. "That's the best I get?"

Without pause, he sinks down to his knees - looking up with pleading blue eyes; "Maybe I'd get a little more interest from down here?"

"God..."

It's half frustration and half desire at the point, frankly.

"You are a damn tease."

[notjustaface]

He'll take what he can get.

"Oh, no... no..." he shakes his head, sliding in close enough to kiss Murdock's belly as he opens his fly.

"This is a promise."

[notthatcrazy]

And at that point he's very glad he's got a tree to hold him up.

"God, yes, please."

Face clearly isn't going to be satisfied until he has him reciting porn-worthy dialogue.

It's a good start, at least.

"I thought you might say that," he smiles against his lover's abs, feeling taut muscle under the thin layer of softness.

The tease is when he lowers the zipper on his jeans with his teeth, looking back up at him with an expectant smile as he drags down his pants.
