Day 3: I Love It When A Wedding (and a plan) Comes Together

There was no doubt about it, Mel/Mia was definitely in on the gig, between the gun and fake documents stored in her cabin and a key to what could only be a storage locker they had more than enough evidence to take her down hard.

Problem was, she didn't strike either of them as the leader of the operation - she was sweet, pretty, just the sort of con Face was the master of. Which usually meant there was a boss pulling the strings. With less than twenty-four hours before dock, it was hard to focus on getting ready for the wedding when he was going over every face on the boat they'd met in the last two days. Between the two of them, they'd practically been social butterflies - making best friends of most of the boat.

They're taking in some last minute time by the pool pretending to go over their vows only a couple hours before the altar, going over the plan if they can only nab half the pair.

"We'll flush her out," Face shakes his head, pushing up off his towel and stretching enough to make his small speedo even more scandalous. "Have Hannibal and BA grab Mia and then make a run for the hold - assuming the guns are in the hold."

Which is a big assumption.

He arches into the touch, almost growling.

"Enough teasing."

"Or what?" He grins wildly against Murdock's ear, nibbling the edge. "You'll make me stop?"

Stilled, Face growls low in his throat - drinking in the rough kiss with a grin.

"I'm gonna make you tell me what you want," he murmurs, eyes half-lidded.

He smiles, pushing his hand downward.

Make love. Anyone else, he might have laughed it off as thinking too much - but after the things he's said... the things he's felt...

He leans in, letting his weight settle against Murdock's chest as he kisses him deeply. It's not about the cock in his hand, for a lingering moment of clarity it's about tasting him and feeling him breathe.

It's just the kind of crazy thing he wouldn't have done a few years ago - like getting married... even a sham marriage.

He's happy to keep kissing him, but those hands on him make it difficult to concentrate on... well, much of anything else.

He leans back to kiss his slightly damp cheek before responding to the movement in kind.

Bringing himself to actually handle it is so much harder than focusing on the throb of arousal telling him that his bag isn't close enough to get supplies and eventually he's going to have to pull away for just a second to take care of that. Sensing the hesitation, he moves away slightly and nudges him toward the sight of the bed. Better to get that taken care of sooner rather than later.

When Murdock pulls away, it's enough to break his moment and attempts to look like he's not a bit wet around the eyes and shaking.

"Just... uh... get comfortable there," he manages, lowering his eyes quickly before crouching down to snag the tiger print makeup kit from his overnight bag. "Is it a warming sensation kinda night, or straight up slickness?"

"Don't think we need any extra warmth tonight."

He sniffs back any hit of mistiness, clearing his throat before he turns back with a warm grin.

"You got that right, baby." He tosses the half-gone bottle on the bedspread near Murdock's hand; "You're all the heat I need."

And that's all he needs to pull him back down onto the bed, cradling his face in his hands as he kisses away the unshed tears.

"Promise you're mine too?"

He feels a little ridiculous, obviously aroused and he guesses pretty obviously a little broken up, but it's easy to put the face on and push back anything but the moment at hand.

"Always, baby." He smirks, crawling onto the foot of the bed. "Hey, I married you remember? All that cheezy shit I said up on the altar with the captain and all."

He's still got stuff on his mind. He doesn't doubt for a second that Face's love and devotion to him are genuine, but part of him is wondering just how seriously he'll take those vows the next time Hannibal asks him to procure something for the team.
