After a day of shopping every thrift shop and half the department stores in town, they managed to pull together some basic living necessities that Face was taking great care to bring up from the curb while Murdock put it all away.

"Last box, baby..." he says with a wide smirk, locking the door behind them. "This is real."

Rolling him off his shoulder, Face lets him come down hard on the mattress - the metal frame squealing in protest at the unexpected drop. "It's gonna be a good month."

With nimble hands, he strips off his jeans and sneakers - leaving them in a pile as he climbed onto the bed in his underwear, the black cotton stretched obviously around his arousal.

The laugh snaps him out of his momentary funk, and he finds himself smiling back as he reaches for the waistband of Face's briefs.

They're doing good, doing the right thing as far as he's concerned. "This is too perfect..." he laughs again, sliding down beside him to press kisses against his shoulder.

The words still don't seem like enough, but he'll say them as much as he can anyway.

"I know you do, baby..." he rolls closer, stroking his fingers through Murdock's hair before brushing another kiss to his temple and then his lips.

It's easy to slip them off, rocking his hips against Murdock with a soft purr.
